Melvin van Hurck

Melvin van Hurck is an attorney at Seattle Injury Law (Sears Injury Law), where he represents plaintiffs in motor vehicle accidents, trip/slip-and-fall cases, and premises liability matters. He has experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of personal injury practice and has handled timber trespass, construction defects, dog bites, elder abuse, workplace accidents, and wrongful death cases.

Originally from Amsterdam and Bangkok, van Hurck brings an international background and a culturally sensitive approach to his client relationships.

He earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. from Linfield University in 2020. He is currently based in the firm's Portland, Oregon location.
