About Francis Murphy
Francis Murphy has practiced law since 1981, representing clients in civil litigation including medical malpractice, truck, car and motorcycle accidents, workplace injuries, and employment discrimination. He earned his B.A. from Rhode Island College (1974), his M.A. from University College Dublin (1976), and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law (1981). He began his legal career as a law clerk at the New Hampshire Superior Court (1981 to 1983) and then served as a law clerk to Justice William Batchelder of the New Hampshire Supreme Court (1983 to 1984). He has argued before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He was selected to Super Lawyers consecutively from 2020 to 2026 and is admitted in New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts.
