
About Lawrence Vogelman
Lawrence Vogelman brings over 50 years of legal experience to the firm's Personal Injury and Criminal Defense practice groups, focusing on civil rights, disability rights, criminal defense, and complex civil litigation. He earned his B.A. from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (1970) and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School (1973). After 15 years as a professor at Cardozo School of Law, where he and Barry Scheck built the clinical and trial advocacy program and practiced as Vogelman and Scheck, he came to New Hampshire in 1994. He served two years as Deputy Director of the New Hampshire Public Defender. He founded the Veterans Law Project, Legal Boots on the Ground, and is the only Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Defense Lawyers in New Hampshire. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 2025 for Civil Rights Law.
