
About Darcy Covert
Darcy Covert was born in San Francisco and attended an international school through high school, which drew her to international relations at Tufts University. After her father, a lawyer for a Catholic health system, died of cancer during her freshman year, she took a leave of absence and returned to complete her degree magna cum laude. She worked as a Wall Street investment banker, clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 2022, and served as a Deputy Public Defender in King County's Misdemeanor Division before joining Stritmatter Law. She graduated from Yale Law School in 2020 and focuses on civil rights and personal injury. She co-chairs the Federal Bar Association's Western District of Washington Local Civil Rules Committee and has published on criminal law in Washington.
