About Bruce Maxwell
Bruce Maxwell has spent over three decades in personal injury, wrongful death, and civil litigation. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois (1985) and his J.D. with Honors from Drake University Law School (1988). Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1988 and the Florida Bar in 2004, Bruce is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit, and multiple federal district courts. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the Florida Justice Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Jacksonville Justice Association. In 2013-2014, his contributions to the Jacksonville Bar Association's Judicial Relations Committee earned him Chair of the Year honors. His career achievements include recognition as a Georgia Super Lawyer and an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Bruce also devotes significant hours to pro bono work through Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and serves on the board of Florida's Children First.
