Anthony Bruning

Anthony 'Tony' Bruning Sr. is the founder of The Bruning Law Firm, a personal injury practice serving the Midwest since 1985. He brings over 45 years of experience representing injured clients. He now serves in an of-counsel role mentoring the next generation of trial attorneys at the firm.

Bruning specializes in complex cases including fires, explosions, product liability, medical malpractice, and trucking accidents. He is a nationally certified fire and explosions investigator who speaks regularly at national symposiums.

Notable achievements include a $50 million verdict in 1999 against a smoke detector manufacturer related to the deaths of two children, and a landmark Klein v. General Electric case exposing coffee maker defects that led to 7 million units being recalled.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.

He is admitted to the Missouri Bar.

He received the National Association of Fire Investigators Man of the Year award in 1989.
