
About Emily Bergmann
Emily Bergmann is an Associate Attorney at The Bruning Law Firm, focusing on personal injury.
Before joining the firm, Bergmann interned at an insurance defense firm during law school and worked in a Veterans Clinic, where she received a Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Work and Achievement. Following graduation, she practiced at an insurance defense firm specializing in medical malpractice.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with minors in Political Science and Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University, graduating Cum Laude.
She is admitted to the Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri bars and is a member of the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
She published Parental Leave in the United States: Why the United States Should Follow France in Implementing Mandatory Paid Paternal Leave in the Child and Family Law Journal (2021).
