About Emily R. Rankin
Emily Rankin earned her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Arizona and her J.D. from the University of Wyoming Law School in 2000, where she was an invited author and editor of the Wyoming Law Review. After law school, she served as a law clerk for Justice Marilyn S. Kite at the Wyoming Supreme Court. She joined The Spence Law Firm in 2002 and became the firm's first female partner in 2009. Emily is a graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College and a past President of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. She has extensive experience in catastrophic injury, complex medical malpractice, civil rights, oil and gas field incidents, sexual assault by authority figures, and trucking accidents, representing clients in Wyoming, New Mexico, and across the nation. She holds Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent rating. Emily is actively involved in the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and volunteers for Access to Justice, providing legal assistance to low-income individuals.
