About Jason A. Neville
Jason Neville was born and raised in Wyoming, the son of one of Wyoming's most respected defense trial lawyers. He earned a B.A. in English with a minor in American Indian Studies from the University of Wyoming in 1997 and his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 2000. He spent 19 years defending doctors, product manufacturers, oil and gas companies, and corporate defendants at Wyoming's premier defense firm before switching sides to represent injured plaintiffs, bringing to that work a deep understanding of insurance company and corporate defense tactics. Jason's trial experience spans complex medical negligence, carbon monoxide injuries, insurance bad faith, oil field accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and high-stakes corporate disputes. He was lead trial counsel in a contract dispute that resulted in a $35,199,154 judgment after two weeks of trial (noted as the sixth-largest bench award in the United States for 2019), which later settled for $52,100,000 after he successfully defended the appeal. He has served over 13 years on the Board of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming and is a past chair of the Board of Professional Responsibility for the Wyoming State Bar. He teaches trial practice and strategy across the country and volunteers at the University of Wyoming College of Law.
