Nate Bjerke

Nate Bjerke started his career in corporate finance before a Trial Practice class in law school changed his direction entirely. He considered tax law but wanted to be in the fight making a difference. Now a seasoned trial attorney, Nate is known for his strategic mind and relentless preparation; Steve Terry says he sees the other side's moves before they make them. One case that stands out involved a four-year-old girl who suffered severe injuries on a daycare playground.

As part of the settlement, the daycare chain was required to conduct expert safety evaluations at all of its locations, and the findings led to safety improvements nationwide. His paralegal says his commitment to clients and the firm is unmatched and that he leads with empathy, concern, and understanding. Outside the office, Nate reads historical fiction, lifts weights, and coaches basketball. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a former president of the Minnesota Association for Justice.
