Gary Marquez

Gary M. Marquez is an Albuquerque native who has spent more than 40 years advocating for injured individuals throughout New Mexico. He earned both his undergraduate degree with honors in 1979 and his law degree in 1984 from the University of New Mexico, declining opportunities to attend schools on the East Coast in favor of staying close to his community. Early in his career he worked as a prosecutor for Bernalillo County and later as an insurance defense attorney, developing strong trial skills and firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies evaluate and often undervalue injury claims. He now applies that background to help injured clients obtain fair compensation.
