About Will Ferguson
Will Ferguson, the firm's managing partner, has devoted nearly all of his 45-plus-year legal career to representing families of people injured or killed through others' negligence. Born in New York City in 1948, he served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1976. He studied at the University of Exeter in Devon, England, earned a B.A. from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1971, and obtained his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1974, the same year he was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar. After a brief period as an entertainment lawyer, he founded his own personal injury firm in 1983 and has focused exclusively on that work since. Over his career he has litigated or managed more than 2,500 personal-injury claims in New Mexico's state and federal courts, with 18 reported appellate decisions to his name. He co-developed Sandia Motorsports Park and co-founded Main Bank (formerly Bank 1st) in Albuquerque.
