Christopher Smith

Christopher M. Smith was drawn to law because he loved the idea of being in court advocating for others. He grew up in Clearwater, Florida, graduated from Florida State University in 2007, and earned his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011. After law school, he worked at the Hillsborough County Public Defenders Office and briefly at a family law practice before joining Winters & Yonker. His experience across personal injury, family law, and criminal law brings broad perspective to his injury practice. Smith is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of both the Florida Justice Association and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.
