About Scott Weinstein
Scott Weinstein is a second-generation trial lawyer who began his career in 1986 defending insurance companies, hospitals, and corporations in complex litigation in Florida. He subsequently built a consumer class action practice on both coasts of Florida before joining the largest plaintiff's firm in the nation, eventually serving as its CEO. He is nationally recognized in consumer protection, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, civil rights, and food-borne illness cases, and has recovered billions of dollars for clients in leadership roles in class actions across state and federal courts. He was designated a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a past president of the Lee County Bar Association, a former member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors, and co-founder and past president of the Naples-Fort Myers Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He holds a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida and is admitted to practice in Florida and federal courts throughout the country.
