Alexander Lichtner

Alexander O. Lichtner serves as Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Edward A. Smith, working on personal injury lawsuits in Sacramento and special projects for the firm. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1978. While in law school he received American Jurisprudence awards in Torts and Marital Property and was selected to the Traynor Cup Competition Moot Court Team.

Since 1980 he has specialized in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, professional liability, insurance, and general civil law. He has served on arbitration panels in El Dorado, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties and has acted as both private and court-appointed arbitrator. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, California Consumer Attorneys, and Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association.
