About Dee Miles
Dee Miles leads Beasley Allen's Consumer Fraud Section and is a highly accomplished leader in complex national litigation, regularly appointed by federal judges to coordinate major multi-district cases. He played a central role in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust case, securing a record-breaking $2.8 billion settlement, and represented state attorneys general in litigations recovering over $1.5 billion for Medicaid agencies. He also secured a $215 million verdict for Alabama against AstraZeneca. Dee earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, then studied Comparative International Law at the University of London before earning his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. Early in his career he clerked for Judge John M. Patterson at the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals and served as staff attorney for the Alabama Supreme Court.
