About Rhon Jones

Rhon Jones joined Beasley Allen in 1994 and leads the firm's Toxic Torts Section. He is recognized as one of the country's leading environmental plaintiff attorneys, having secured over $30 billion in total recoveries for his clients. He played a central role in the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill litigation, helping recover more than $10 billion for individuals and businesses and an additional $18.5 billion for federal, state, and local governments. When the opioid crisis hit Alabama and Georgia, Rhon represented both states, guiding their legal strategies and helping Georgia secure more than $1 billion in opioid settlement proceeds. He earned his B.A. from Auburn University and his J.D. from the University of Alabama, and began his legal career as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Robert Varner.
