Mark Malak

Mark Malak is an attorney at Berger & Green. He graduated with honors from Rowan University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in political science and earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2013. During law school, he received a legal fellowship from Legal Services, through which he represented clients who could not afford private counsel, and he was honored for his public service contributions. He also participated in his law school's Criminal Justice Clinic, defending individuals charged with misdemeanors in county court. Before joining Berger & Green in 2019, Attorney Malak litigated Social Security Disability cases in more than 30 states. At the firm, he represents disabled individuals seeking SSDI and SSI benefits. He has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2021 through 2025, a recognition limited to 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state. He serves on the membership committee of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including its Committee on Law and Disability, its Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Social Security Practitioners Committee. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and in all Social Security courts throughout the United States.
