Laura Ostrander

Laura Ostrander is an attorney at Berry Law with 20+ years of workers' compensation experience (representing insurance carriers and employers). Her practice covers workers' compensation and appellate advocacy.

Ostrander has appeared before the Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation, Iowa District Courts, the Iowa Court of Appeals, and the Iowa Supreme Court. Her appellate work has established several important workers' compensation legal precedents in Iowa.

Before her current role, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Van Zimmer of the Iowa Court of Appeals.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Biology Minor magna cum laude from Luther College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. While in law school, she served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Corporation Law and as an Appellate Advocacy Student Judge.

She is admitted to the Iowa State Bar.
