Kristopher Heaton

Kristopher Heaton spent more than seven years as a prosecutor in Polk County before joining Burnetti, P.A., where he applies those same skills to help injury victims obtain fair compensation from insurance companies. Born in Hollywood, Florida, he earned his B.A. from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He practices in auto accidents and slip-and-fall cases. He views his role as advisor, educator, and advocate, believing it is important to explain the reasoning behind his recommendations so clients understand the process. His notable criminal prosecutions included a first-degree arson conviction in Lakeland and the sentencing of a former Lakeland bank executive to four years in prison for a fatal hit-and-run.
