Jeb Butler

Jeb Butler founded Butler Kahn after earlier work at his father's firm, Butler Wooten and Fryhofer, and stints as a law clerk and prosecutor. He handles serious personal injury and wrongful death cases with an approach centered on meticulous preparation rather than courtroom theatrics. Jeb was part of the trial team that won a $150 million verdict against Chrysler in the Walden case, a product liability matter involving fuel tank placement on Jeep Grand Cherokees. He handled a police chase case that led to policy changes protecting innocent lives, and won a $500,000 verdict for a sexual abuse survivor. Other disclosed results include a $45 million motorcycle accident settlement, a $3,973,260 boating accident settlement, and a $1,250,000 pedestrian settlement. At the University of Georgia School of Law, Jeb graduated magna cum laude in the top 10% of his class, published on the Law Review, and earned the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. He also holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University. After law school he clerked for Judge Lisa Godbey Wood in the Southern District of Georgia, then prosecuted cases at the Clayton County District Attorney's Office.
