About Babar Waheed
Babar Waheed won his first district court jury trial during the first week after the Colorado Supreme Court swore him in to practice law. He has committed his career to representing injured individuals against corporations and insurance companies, with a focus on catastrophic injury, brain injury, and wrongful death cases, including victims of drunk and drugged drivers. Babar was the first attorney to successfully hold a corporation responsible for a felonious killing committed by its driver, and he has prevailed in the Colorado Appellate Courts by reversing a trial court decision that wrongly denied punitive damages. Alongside Dan Caplis and John Kellner, he secured a $205 million jury verdict in the amusement park wrongful death case. He earned his B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006.
