About Cajardo Lindsey
Cajardo Lindsey brings more than 75 jury trials to his practice at Dan Caplis Law. His career began in insurance defense before he joined the Denver District Attorney's Office, where he spent eight years rising to Senior Deputy District Attorney and handling cases from DUIs to first-degree murder. He was cross-deputized as a Special U.S. Attorney for the Front Range Drug Task Force, working alongside DEA and multiple Colorado law enforcement agencies. After serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Denver, Cajardo transitioned to civil personal injury practice, where he and his partner routinely obtained six- and seven-figure excess verdicts. Governor Polis then appointed Cajardo to the bench of Colorado's 18th Judicial District, where he presided over civil matters including domestic relations and protection orders. Cajardo graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a B.A. in Public Administration, and earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
