Janelle Miller

Janelle grew up in Topeka, Kansas, with a mother who served as a union steward. Inspired by watching her mother fight for her coworkers, she became enamored with the art of advocacy and made it her mission while she was still in elementary school to become a lawyer so she could help others just like her mom. Her first foray into the law came in high school when she served as an intern for the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. She then went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Washburn University and her law degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law. Following law school, Janelle began her legal career representing the State of Missouri as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.

From there, she became an Assistant District Attorney in Shawnee County, Kansas, and later represented the State of Kansas, specifically the Kansas Department of Children and Family Services, as a Contract Attorney. Now a committed Plaintiffs' Attorney, Janelle uses her extensive trial experience as a former prosecutor to help position her clients for success in a range of personal injury cases. She is known for her personalized and passionate approach and prides herself on taking the necessary time to listen to her clients, empathize with their situations, and help them understand their rights under the law.
