David Gorney

David E. Gorney is an Attorney at Goodman Acker P.C., bringing a therapeutically-minded approach to client representation.

Gorney earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his undergraduate degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan.

Gorney's prior roles include the University of Michigan family law clinic, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, and other civil litigation firms representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He comes from a blended family formed after a tragic motor vehicle accident.
