David Caplan

David L. Caplan earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 1979 and has spent more than 30 years representing injured workers and their families against large corporations and insurance companies. He joined GWC in 1990 and became a partner in 1996, and co-manages the firm's Workers' Compensation division. David has obtained multiple settlements in excess of $250,000 and a single settlement of approximately $1 million. He is a member of the Workers' Compensation Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Illinois workers' compensation law.
