Carlos Fernandez

Carlos A. Fernandez graduated from Emory University in 2014 with degrees in Political Science and English, then earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2018, where he was a trial practice teaching assistant, earned an Outstanding Community Service Certificate, and was certified by LexisNexis in legal research. He joined the Fulton County Solicitor General's Office as a prosecutor before transitioning to civil defense work at a large national firm, where he handled premises liability, personal injury, and Section 1983 matters. He now represents injured plaintiffs at Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C. and is fluent in Spanish. He is admitted in Georgia and Florida and has received recognition including 2022-2024 Best Lawyers' Ones to Watch, 2022-2024 Super Lawyers Rising Star, and the 2024 Georgia Bar Young Lawyers Division Griffin Bell Triumph in Leadership Award. He is based at the Duluth office.
