About Mary Ellen Morris
Mary Ellen Morris graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University in December 1982 with a double major in History and Broadcasting. She earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1988, where she was a member of the Moot Court Team, the Moot Court Board, and the Vanderbilt Law Review, received American Jurisprudence Awards in four classes, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. She holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and concentrates her practice on product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and general civil litigation. She has been named to Best Lawyers in America since 2017 and to Mid-South Super Lawyers since 2023. She is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation (2012), the Tennessee Bar Foundation (2019), and the American Bar Foundation (2024).
