Randall Kinnard

Randall Kinnard has practiced personal injury and medical malpractice law in Nashville for more than 40 years, building a record of results that includes a $55 million verdict for sportscaster Erin Andrews and a $22 million jury verdict that stood as the largest individual personal injury verdict in Tennessee history. He is the only Tennessee lawyer in the Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only group of the top 100 plaintiffs trial attorneys in the United States, as characterized by The Washington Post. He is certified in Civil Trial Law (since 1995) and Civil Practice Advocacy (since 2012) by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and is Board-Certified as a Medical Malpractice Specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Before law school, he attended West Point and served two tours in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, earning the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor, and Air Medal. He has been named to The Best Lawyers in America since 1993 and to Mid-South Super Lawyers every year since 2007, and received Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year in Nashville for Personal Injury and Product Liability in 2025. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and is a past president of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
