About W. Lyon Chadwick

Lyon Chadwick graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2005, where he attended the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and earned a B.A. in Psychology. He then studied at the University of Mississippi School of Law, working with the Mississippi Innocence Project under Director Tucker Carrington. After law school he passed both the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Exams and began his career as an attorney for the State of Tennessee. He entered private practice in 2012, spending the next decade on complex personal injury cases with a focus on medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil rights. His practice now covers all Tennessee state and federal courts. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Mid-South honoree since 2024 and as a Rising Star from 2019 to 2023, and was named to America's Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America (2026). He is active in the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. Outside the law he is a classically trained violinist and former working musician.
