About Natalia Cortes-Hidalgo
Natalia S. Cortes-Hidalgo is an Associate at Krause & Kinsman with an LL.M. in Health Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (summa cum laude). Her specialized training covers medical malpractice torts, personal injuries, defective medical devices, corporate and medical liability in healthcare settings, and federal healthcare fraud. At the firm, Natalia has drafted complaints in the Hernia Mesh MDL and MCL cases for Covidien and Bard devices, conducted detailed evaluations of plaintiff medical records and device injuries, and handled settlement administration including comprehensive injury analyses and appeals. In the Camp Lejeune litigation she leads a team coordinating with probate courts nationwide to gather certified evidence for deceased plaintiffs, and provides summaries at leadership meetings. In the Boy Scouts of America Sexual Abuse Bankruptcy she evaluated plaintiff claims with complex evidence to help clients achieve reasonable settlement offers. Natalia earned her J.D. from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law and her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Interamerican University (summa cum laude).
