Brett Simon

Brett Simon is a member of Langdon & Emison's Complex Torts division, practicing out of the firm's Independence office with a focus on catastrophic injury cases and a full array of personal injury matters. Brett was previously an associate at a large defense firm in Kansas City, where he developed and executed nationwide defense strategies for clients in product liability matters, and now uses that knowledge of defense strategies to fight for clients who have been catastrophically injured or have lost a loved one due to defective products. He was recognized by the 2023 Best Lawyers in America as part of their 'Ones to Watch' feature. Brett graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and was a member of the trial advocacy team and national moot court team.
