About John Tyner
John Tyner joined Langdon & Emison in 2019 with substantial litigation experience in federal and state courts. He devotes his practice to helping people who have been catastrophically injured or have lost loved ones in accidents involving defective products, trucking accidents, premises liability, and other instances of negligence. In 2025, he was accepted into membership in the National Trial Lawyers Products Liability Top 25 for his work on cases involving defective products. Before joining Langdon & Emison, John was a shareholder at Polsinelli, P.C. in Kansas City from 2007 to 2019, where he first- and second-chaired jury trials and bench trials in U.S. District Courts and other state courts. Prior to that he clerked for the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. John is a 2006 graduate of The University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with distinction, and earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in Business Administration.
