Michael Serra

Michael Serra is an experienced litigator in state and federal courts who joined Langdon & Emison in 2015 from the Kansas City defense firm Baker Sterchi Cowden and Rice LLC, where he focused on product liability, premises liability, financial litigation, automotive litigation, and constitutional law. He brings a commitment to representing individuals going up against large corporations and plays a key role in all phases of litigation for cases involving defective vehicles and products, electrical shock injuries, railroad accidents, and other instances of negligence. Michael has regularly developed and implemented complete discovery plans for various types of lawsuits, including written discovery, third-party discovery, and depositions. He has been honored by Best Lawyers in America, National Trial Lawyers, and Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers. Michael graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was a member of the Iowa Law Review, and earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University.
