Sara Skelton

Sara Skelton devotes her practice to representing clients and families who have suffered a catastrophic injury or death. As an associate attorney in the firm's Complex Torts division, she focuses on helping seriously injured individuals and their families from the firm's Kansas City office. In 2025, she was selected to the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40 list and has also been honored by Missouri Lawyers Media as one of the top young lawyers in the state. Most recently Sara clerked for Judge Roseann Ketchmark in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, assisting with discovery dispute hearings, pretrial conferences, and civil and criminal trials. She also worked as a law clerk for Judge Mark Pfeiffer in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, and as a legal analyst reviewing pharmaceutical discovery documents. A graduate of UMKC School of Law, Sara graduated magna cum laude from Truman State University, where she majored in Spanish.
