Jonathan Deters

Jon Deters is a Cincinnati native whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, class action litigation, personal injury law, and sports and entertainment law. He has been a litigator since the start of his career, representing individuals, businesses, local governments, and government officials. His experience as both plaintiff and defense counsel makes him well-suited to represent individual and corporate clients. Before joining Markovits, Stock & DeMarco in January 2022, Jon practiced at Schroeder, Maundrell, Barbiere & Powers, an Ohio firm specializing in civil litigation, personal injury, and constitutional law. During law school, he served as a constable for the Hamilton County Ohio Court of Common Pleas and worked as a law clerk at the Law Office of Steven R. Adams. He has been named an Ohio SuperLawyer Rising Star from 2019 through 2022.
