About Michael Sievers
Michael Sievers grew up in Gallup, New Mexico, and worked as a newspaper reporter and editor for four years before attending law school. He joined McGinn Montoya Love Curry & Sievers as a law clerk after his first semester at UNM School of Law and never left. He served as Managing Editor of the New Mexico Law Review, graduated with honors in 2013, and became an associate attorney immediately after passing the bar. His practice focuses particularly on medical malpractice and semi-truck collision cases. He has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education on trucking cases and learned to drive a manual-transmission semi-truck from a leading expert. In 2023, he became board certified in Truck Accident Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He serves on the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Board of Directors and is a member of the American Association for Justice's Trucking Litigation Group and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
