About Paris Holmes

Paris J. Holmes is a trial attorney and associate at Murphy Falcon & Murphy, admitted to the Maryland bar in December 2024. He grew up in East Baltimore and graduated as valedictorian from Renaissance Academy before earning a B.S. in Political Science from Coppin State University and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school he served as chapter president and Regional Pre-Law Director for the National Black Law Students Association. Following graduation he clerked for the Honorable Kendra Y. Ausby of the Baltimore City Circuit Court and worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in Baltimore City District Court, where he gained a foundation in trial practice. Before law school he worked in electoral politics and public policy, and twice successfully petitioned the Baltimore City School Board to keep schools he attended from closing. His practice at Murphy Falcon & Murphy focuses on civil rights (including police brutality), personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and criminal defense. He is a member of the Monumental City Bar Association and serves on the board of L.I.V.E., Inc.
