
About Stephen Acquario
Stephen J. Acquario has devoted his legal career to championing the rights of local government and their obligation to protect the health, safety, and welfare of people, their communities, and the environment. For decades, he has consulted with public entities on complex legislative, regulatory, and litigation strategies, offering a unique range of governmental experience at the federal, state, and local level. He concentrates on environmental contamination litigation on behalf of municipalities and water systems impacted by PFAS and other industrial pollutants. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Potsdam. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
