Tom Jacob

Tom Jacob focuses on catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and Federal Tort Claims Act cases. He graduated first in his class at Baylor Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review, won the 'Top Gun' trial competition, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. He also won national mock trial championships in competitions held by AAJ and other organizations. After law school, he clerked for Judge Will Garwood on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has tried numerous cases against the United States federal government and private companies. Most recently, he was trial counsel on the landmark $230 million verdict for survivors of the Sutherland Springs church mass shooting. Austin Monthly named him a Top Attorney, and Thomson Reuters has recognized him as a Super Lawyer since 2021 and a Rising Star since 2016. He has published works including an article on medical malpractice in the Texas Tech Law Review.
