John Richmond

John E. Richmond is the Co-Founder and CEO of Richmond Vona, LLC. In 2019, he and Keith Vona started the firm with the goal of changing the way people think about personal injury lawyers. With over fifteen years of experience advocating for injured New Yorkers, John has a strong record of holding negligent corporations and major insurance companies accountable. Born and raised in Western New York, he amassed extensive experience at law firms in New York City and Buffalo before co-founding Richmond Vona, representing individuals with catastrophic injuries and those diagnosed with mesothelioma or lung cancer due to asbestos exposure. Under his leadership, the firm has secured over $200 million in settlements and verdicts, earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in 2024, and received the 2023 Crisp Game Changer award for Excellence in Firm Culture. He is also the host of the Angles Podcast, which features conversations with entrepreneurs and professionals from Buffalo and beyond.
