About Mark Lewandowski
Mark C. Lewandowski earned his B.A. with honors from the University of Virginia in 1980 and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh in 1983. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1984 and the New Jersey bar in 1988. After law school, Mark served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps from 1984 to 1988, handling criminal defense, prosecution, labor law, and environmental law. Following his military service, he spent over 25 years representing both injured workers and employers in New Jersey Workers' Compensation and Federal Longshoremen and Harbor Workers Act cases, passing through firms including Baker, Duffy & Pederson; Gallo, Geffner, Fenster; Braff, Harris, Sukoneck; and Javerbaum, Wurgaff. In September 2015 he joined MetroLaw.com, where he represents injured workers in New Jersey Workers' Compensation claims and medical providers in Workers' Compensation medical provider claims. He also has significant experience in automobile PIP arbitrations. Mark has lectured on New Jersey Workers' Compensation for the National Business Institute and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. His practice is 90% NJ Workers' Compensation, with additional work in Federal Longshore, Social Security, and PIP arbitrations.
