Gerald Bekkerman

Gerald J. Bekkerman is a trial attorney with a national track record representing clients in personal injury cases including car accidents, slip and fall, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, workplace injuries, construction site accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, defective products, and wrongful death. He has earned numerous multimillion-dollar negotiated settlements and jury trial verdicts throughout his career. His case results include a $15 million product liability settlement for a man rendered a quadriplegic by a defective product, a $7.5 million settlement for a motorcyclist struck by a commercial vehicle, a $5.25 million settlement for a motorcyclist who suffered a below-the-knee amputation, a $4.8 million settlement at trial for a family severely injured in a highway crash, a $4.5 million jury verdict in a trucking case, and a $2.5 million jury verdict for a car accident victim with traumatic knee and ankle injuries. He earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law (2007) and his B.A. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (2000).
