About Scott Shapiro

Scott Shapiro is a Chicago-area attorney with a focus on workers' compensation and personal injury cases representing injured workers and plaintiffs. He began his law career in 1997 following graduation from John Marshall Law School. Before founding his own firm, Law Offices of Scott B. Shapiro, P.C., he practiced insurance defense, giving him inside knowledge of how employers and insurers contest claims. He applies that experience to represent workers and injury victims against insurance companies and employers. Shapiro simultaneously serves as of counsel to Rosenfeld Injury Lawyers and lead attorney of the Sherwood Law Group workers' compensation division. He has received multiple awards for cases resulting in six-figure and permanent total disability findings for clients injured in construction accidents, factory accidents, repetitive injury situations, and cumulative trauma cases. He is a member of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
