About Fletcher Cockrell
Fletcher F. Cockrell is a personal injury trial attorney at Smith & Hassler. Born in Orange, Texas, he received his Bachelor of Science from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, and his master's degree in administration from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. He practices exclusively in personal injury, handling cases involving 18-wheeler truck accidents, car accidents, wrongful death, toxic and chemical exposure, industrial accidents, maritime law, premises liability, products liability, wrongful termination, clergy abuse, and sexual harassment and retaliation. As an experienced litigator, he has tried numerous cases to jury verdict. He serves as Chief Legal Counsel for the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and devotes time to pro bono work.
