Lisa Tanaka

Lisa Tanaka brings over a decade of litigation and appellate experience to Swope, Rodante P.A., where she focuses on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she earned a B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Guelph in 2000 and an M.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2011 before earning her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2013, where she was an active member of the nationally recognized Moot Court Board and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia. She received the Pro Bono Service Award for dedication to community service and is a member of the Tampa Bay Inn of Court and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
