Matthew Mokwa

Matthew Mokwa concentrates his practice on products liability and mass tort litigation, as well as securities fraud and consumer class action cases. He is dedicated to delivering client-focused and compassionate legal services to the wrongly injured. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an attorney in the private equity and venture capital industry, gaining insight into how corporations are valued and how unethical companies can misrepresent their financial health or the safety of their products. Attorney Mokwa earned his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from the Eller Business School at the University of Arizona, where he was selected by the faculty as the Outstanding Marketing Student and received the Award for Highest Academic Distinction at graduation. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law as a Presidential Scholar and member of the Phi Delta Legal Honor Society. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is also a published author, and his article 'Enron, Sarbanes Oxley and the End of Earnings Management' (Texas Business Journal, Winter 2004) is a widely cited summary of securities fraud.
