About Stephen Craig
Attorney Stephen Craig has been a fixture in the Central Florida legal community for close to three decades, but his path to law was not traditional. In 1986, Steve enlisted in the United States Army as a Foreign Counterintelligence Special Agent, with assignments throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean. He eventually received a direct commission as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and earned multiple joint-service and Army decorations, including the Joint-Service Commendation Medal. After his service, he established a successful investigative and legal support practice in Orlando. Following the September 11 attacks, Steve returned briefly to federal civil service as an intelligence officer, last posted as the Senior Intelligence Representative to the Orlando FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. In 2004, he returned to practice as a legal investigator and began working with The Maher Law Firm. While working full-time, Steve earned his law degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and is now admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
