About Candelario Trevino

Candelario (J.R.) Trevino is a San Antonio personal injury trial lawyer with over two decades of courtroom experience. He received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and criminal justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2000, then earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2003. Licensed by the State Bar of Texas that same year (bar card 24042057), he has since dedicated his practice to representing injury victims against insurance carriers and corporate defendants.

He has taken more than 80 cases to verdict and prevailed in more than 99 percent of them. In 2012, Texas Lawyer magazine recognized him for obtaining the top Texas motor vehicle accident verdict of that year. He has been named a top San Antonio personal injury attorney by San Antonio Scene magazine on multiple occasions. He is a member of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
