About Alden Byrd
Alden Byrd is a litigation attorney at Washington Law Center who focuses on representing workers injured on the job, handling matters from initial filings through appeals. He brings a unique perspective to his practice, having started his career representing employers in workplace injury matters before transitioning to advocate exclusively for injured workers. This background gives him insight into how claims are evaluated and contested, allowing him to anticipate challenges and build stronger cases for clients. Alden earned his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law. He joined Washington Law Center in 2015 and has spent more than a decade fighting to secure the benefits his clients deserve. He volunteers with the Housing Justice Project and lives in Seattle with his wife, two children, and dogs.
